ČEZ Jizerská 50 announces 1000 registered participants while registrations are still available at the lowest price

Will this year’s winter break the record again? It seems very likely. The organizers of the 54th CEZ Jizerská 50 race are seeing substantial interest in registrations for all the weekend races that will take place between 12th and 14th February in Bedřichov.

The organizers are also preparing a special competition for those already registered who can win a signed suit of Petter Northug, the Norwegian phenomenal ski racer who took part in this year’s race. Everyone who registers by the end of this week will be able to participate. Another motivation is of course the chance to register at a cheaper price.

If you haven’t had enough, there’s more information to be had – the registration for the summer version of the race is also open now. The race will take place on Saturday 29th August also in Bedřichov and the surrounding forests of the Jizerské Mountains. Set out running on the trails of northern Bohemia, leave your skis at home this time, there will be enough time to fine-tune your skiing form before February 2021. 

Get on the start line of the summer version of the race alongside world boxing champion Lukáš Konečný and Czech elite cross-country skier Standa Řezáč. You can choose between 5, 11, 22 and 50 km courses. As usual, there will also be children’s courses as part of the Dr. Max races. See you on the start line!
