Will runners from abroad be able to participate?
Yes, registrations are also open to foreign competitors. The participation of competitors from all over the world makes Jizerská 50 a unique event in the Czech context and helps the reputation of the whole country.
When will you publish time limits for individual waves?
We will publish the limits for waves in October.
I’ve never taken part in the Jizerská 50 race, but I have done other races, what wave will you put me in?
In a note in the relevant registration step, state the name of the race, the length of the route, the year you ran the race and your time. We accept results from the Worldloppet, Ski Classics and Ski Tour series - based on these results, we will place you in the performance wave.
I have never taken part inJizerská 50, but I have skied Jizerská 25, will I have to start from the last wave?
We will consider your results in J25, B30 and J10 and you will be placed in the wave according to your performance.
I have never taken part in J50 and I cannot prove any performance from other races, which wave will I start from?
In this case, you will be placed in the last wave and you will have to compete for a better starting wave for next time.
Can I start with my wife/friend / etc from the same wave?
We place skiers in waves according to their performance, if your wife/friend / etc has a worse wave than you, we can move you to a worse wave based on your request sent to email@example.com, so that you can start together.
I’ve bought the race fee, but I’m ill and I can’t go to the race, is it possible to transfer the entry fee to someone? Alternatively, can it be transferred to next year?
Yes, you can transfer the entry fee to another person for a fee. You can re-register in SportID. The race fee cannot be transferred to the following year.
I am buying the race fee as a substitute; will I have the same number as the original owner?
No, you only buy the race fee from the original owner (you don’t buy a number or a wave placement). You will get your race number and the wave number depending on your performance. We place skiers with similar performance in waves so that everyone, even with the large number of competitors on the track, can enjoy the race to the maximum and do not have to overtake the slow or let the faster skiers pass.
I want to buy the race fee as a gift, what should I do?
You can donate the race fee in the form of a gift voucher.
I bought the entry fee for my friend, filled in the application and paid the race fee, can you issue me a gift voucher retroactively?
No, please use the option to purchase a gift voucher, see the link above.
I have registered but didn’t buy parking, waxing service or souvenirs right away - can I buy these services additionally?
Yes, you can purchase these services additionally, but only if they are not sold out (for example, parking). You can do so directly in your sportID user account in the “additional services” section. Instructions on how to proceed can be found here.
I am a member of the Champions Club, am I entitled to a discount?
Yes, a code for a% discount corresponding to the number of our races you have skied so far was sent to you by email. Enter the code during registration and the appropriate discount will be deducted. The discount is not granted retroactively. If you have not received it, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
