Tips for waxing before races

Waxing service SWIX

Perfect wax layer – that’s the key to the right cross-country skiing experience. If you want your skis treated like a professional at Jizerská 50, use the services of experienced service people from SWIX.

Whether you order waxing while registering for the race, where this option is available at the end of registration after the payment or if you use an extra reservation within your SportID account, here are simple instructions on how to do it:

1. Sign in to your SportID account.
2. Register for a race and click the link for the reservation in the last step or click on the tab for ski waxing.
3. Choose a race you want to get your skis waxed for (ČEZ Jizesrká 50, Volkswagen Bedřichovská 30, Jizerská 25, ČSOB Jizerská 17, ČT Jizerská 10).
4. Choose the time that suits you and whether you want to hand in your skis the day before your race at the office issuing race bibs in Liberec or at the SWIX stall in Bedřichov.
5. Choose which type of servicing you prefer (Sport or Racing). If a servicing option is not visible in the roll-down field, the capacities are full and a reservation can’t be made.
6. Make an online payment by bank card. (There’s no reimbursement. It is possible to transfer ski servicing onto someone else. You just need to hand the confirmation email to that person.)
7. Bring your skis at the time selected to the professionals from SWIX at the race bibs office in Liberec or at the Swix stall in Bedřichov. Remove previous layers of old wax from them beforehand.
8. Pick up your waxed skis at the SWIX stall in Bedřichov. We’ll deliver your skis dropped off at Liberec to Bedřichov.
9. Enjoy the 58^th ČEZ Jizerská 50.
