ČEZ Jizerská 50 - recent changes in starts and organization

Considering the newest changes caused by the lack of snow, we bring you a summary of the most important information that you might found useful during the weekend of the 53rd ČEZ Jizerská 50. We point out that in case of the improvement of the snow situation, there is still a possibility of the race in its full length. Final decision will be announced on Thursday before 5 PM.

ČEZ Jizerská 50 (racers with the start at 3 PM or later need headlamps) 

Racers should expect 4 laps and starts will be divided into starting blocks with a maximum of 400 racers each. Each block will have its own starting time. For blocks with the starting time at 3 PM or later a headlamp is mandatory. Starting times of blocks can be found in the table and you need to reserve your starting time online (will start on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 12 noon) or at the registrations. Racers in the first wave will start on Sunday at the noon. They don't need any reservation. Race of the elite wave will start at 9 AM on Sunday and the race will be 15 laps long.

Hervis Jizerská 25

The race will take place according to the schedule on Saturday, and racers will be divided into 3 blocks by starting numbers. Numbers 1 - 400 will start at 8 AM, numbers 401 - 800 at 9:15 and numbers 801 and higher at 10:30. The race will be 3 laps long. 

ČT Jizerská 10

The race will take place on Saturday. Racers will be divided into 2 blocks by starting numbers. Numbers 2001 - 2400 will start at noon, numbers 2401 and higher at 1 AM. The race will be 2 laps long. 

Volkswagen Bedřichovská 30 (Attention! The race will be in the classic style)

The race will take place on Friday. Racers will be divided into 2 blocks by starting numbers. Numbers 1 - 325 will start at 11 AM, numbers 326 and higher at 1 AM. The race will be 3 laps long. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The race will be in classic style. 

Mini Jizerská Pojišťovny VZP

There is no change. Tracks will be prepared according to the current conditions. 

Benzina Sprint

There is no change.

Jizerská firemní RAUL

Tracks will be prepared according to the current conditions. The start is on Saturday at 2:30 PM. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The race will be in classic style. 

How to get to Bedrichov by car and by bus?

On Friday, February 7, 2020, the transport in Bedřichov is not limited and competitors can use the available parking spaces to fill their capacity. On Saturdays and Sundays Bedřichov will be closed from 6:00 to 10:00 for transport and only parking card holders will be allowed to enter. A free shuttle bus service is available from Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou. The shuttle bus service will continue to operate after the races

I can't participate. Can I transfer my starting spot to someone else?

 Yes, it is possible. You can do that at the registration in OC Nisa, the cost in 300 CZK. No changes are possible on the day of the race. If you can't come to the registrations, another person can transfer your fee if they show the written agreement signed by you. Cancellation must include name, surname, year of birth, phone and email contact and text: "I agree with the cancellation of my registration. I transfer my starting fee to another racer (name, surname, year of the birth, address, phone, and email contact."

How can I get to the start?

There is no limitation in the traffic on Friday, you can use all of the parking spots to the full capacity. Bedřichov is closed to traffic on Saturday and Sunday from 6 AM to 10 AM. Only people with the parking card will be allowed to drive in. Shuttle buses are free of charge on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou. 

Wax service

Yes, the SWIX waxing service will be at disposal at the stadium in Bedřichov. The second cross-country ski service will also be set up in the Nisa shopping center as part of the issue of numbers. Please observe the reserved ski check-in time. If you start your starting block of a 50km race on a different day than Sunday, submitting your skis to the reserved lubrication service will automatically move you to the same time and place the day before you start. Confimation to worldloppet pass

Even on shorter laps, competitors will receive confirmation to the Worldloppet passport. Also, based on the time from the race will be deployed in the waves in 2021.

When and where I receive a medal?

Every racer of Jizerská 50 deserves to be rewarded by a medal. A unique medal will be given to racers immediately after crossing the finish line.
