As of 2026, this race is part of the professional Ski Classics ranking, including points scoring. To apply for participation, you must meet the following conditions:
- 1. be a registered FIS competitor (have a valid FIS code)
- 2. meet the criteria for inclusion in the first starting wave of the 50 km race
Registration is only possible via e-mail at elite@jiz50.cz. Please include in your e-mail:
- Your full name
- Date of birth
- Your SportID number (found in your profile)
- FIS code
- Results from races completed
The race director will review and approve the application of any competitor who is not part of a professional team. Once approved, we will automatically register you and send you instructions for paying the entry fee.

*Competitors whose registration payment is received by Jizerská 50 by October 30, 2026, inclusive, will have their first and last names as listed in their SportID account printed on their race bibs.

- New registrations after the close of on-line registrations will be held until the capacity of the race at the place and time of issue of numbers is sold out.
Issue of starting bibs
- The sprint consists of three qualifying rounds and is raced using the classic technique
- In qualification, competitors start individually, always at 15s intervals
- The best 14 competitors from qualification advance to the semi-finals, which are split into two groups of seven
- The top three competitors from each semi-final group advance to the final, plus the competitor who finished fourth in the semi-final and has a better time than the fourth-place finisher from the other group. The final is contested by 7 competitors together
- The sprint consists of three qualifying rounds, with each round covering a distance of 1.5 km and raced using the double poling technique
- In qualification, competitors start individually.
- The best 12 competitors from qualification advance to the semi-finals, which are split into two groups of six
- The top three competitors from each semi-final group advance to the final and start together

Transportation and parking
- Also for the 60th edition, the organizers managed to secure insurance that covers the risk of insufficient snow in the Jizera Mountains. If the race cannot be held, even on an alternative or shortened course, 70% of the basic entry fee will be refunded to participants. For the ČEZ Jizerská 50, this amounts to 630 CZK.
- If a discount on the entry fee was applied, the insurance payout will be reduced proportionally to the discount.
- The insurance now applies to all individual races, including Mini Jizerská and Orlen Sprint.

Insurance in case of race cancellation due to lack of snow
The Jizerská 50 2027 is held in an area managed by Lesy České republiky, the state-owned forest enterprise. We kindly ask all participants to respect and protect these shared forests.
The elite 50 km race and the Sprint event as part of the 59th ČEZ Jizerská 50 2026 are financially supported by a grant from the National Sports Agency.
