ORLEN SPRINT: ATTRACTIVE ELITE RACE CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY AND TEMPTS WITH PRIZE MONEY OF 400,000 CZK

A fiery Friday spectacle: That's how the tenth edition of the ORLEN Sprint could be described in several words. ORLEN Sprint is an integral part of the ČEZ Jizerská 50. On the Bedřichov stadium, sprinters will test their strengths on a 1.5 km track. A total of 400.000 CZK (more than 16.000 EUR) will be divided among the participants at the finish line. The evening sprint will also be broadcast live by Czech television.

In addition to the thrilling sporting experience and the unique atmosphere in the background, financial rewards serve as another enticing feature for both domestic and international cross-country skiers. Thanks to this motivation, we can look forward to a sprint full of adrenaline with the best skiers from around the world.

The amount of Prize Money is particularly tempting for elite skiers. Last year, the winner of the 55th ČEZ Jizerská 50, Ida Dahl, competed against Emil Persson (the winner of the 2021 ČEZ Jizerská 50) and the promising young Swede Alvar Myhlback, who dominated the entire sprint. In the women's category, the Norwegian skier Magni Smedaas emerged victorious, subsequently conquering the ČEZ Jizerská 50 and achieving a double triumph.

Traditionally, the top 6 men and women will be rewarded. The winners will share 200,000 CZK, second place 80,000 CZK, and the bronze medalists 48,000 CZK. The remaining sum of over 170,000 CZK will be distributed among the competitors in fourth, fifth, and sixth place.

This year's anniversary edition of the ORLEN Sprint will feature stars such as Emilie Fleten, Ida Palmberg, Ida Dahl and Amund Riege. There will be no shortage of dramatic finishes.
