THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET THE CHEAPEST ENTRANCE FEE FOR 53rd JIZERSKÁ 50 ENDS IN SEPTEMBER

Tradition, world-class athletes, and the beauty of the Jizera Mountains. The legendary Jizerská 50, held from the 7^th–9^th February 2020 will showcase all of this. Do not miss the 53^rd annual traditional cross-country skiing race. You still have a chance to register at the lowest entrance fee possible until the end of September.

Last year, the Jizerská 50 races were in record demand. Three of the races were full to capacity, and judging from the number of people who have registered so far, it seems that we will be in the same situation very soon. This is why we would like to remind  you to register as soon as possible.

Traditionally the race is held as the 1970 Peru Expedition Memorial. This year, we will also commemorate the 50^th anniversary of the Huascaran Mountain accident. Fifty years ago, Czech mountaineers attempting to conquer Peru’s highest mountain summit died in an earthquake. Many of them played a significant part in the history of the Jizerská 50.

In traditional races, you can choose from 10, 25 and 50 km classic style races, 30 km leisure style race or the Friday sprint. Registration for the kids’ races held on Friday is underway, too. Choose the race that suits you best and come to Bedřichov for your personal race experience.

If it is not possible to hold a race due to the lack of snow, participants will get 70% of their entrance fees back thanks to cooperation with the main partner, the General Health Insurance Company (VZP).
