It is only few days until the ČEZ Jizerská 50 weekend and all related races. Do you know where to collect your starting number, how to reach the starting point or when and where you can have your skis waxed? Here is a summary of the most important items of information that may come in useful to you during the ČEZ Jizerská 50 weekend.
How will the respective weekend races be run?
The entrants will cover four laps starting in starting groups amounting to 400 racers at the most. Each group will have its exact start time and the track reserved for two hours. Four of the groups will go in for their races on Sunday while another two groups on Friaday and three groups, on Saturday. The participants starting after 3 p.m. must be equipped with headlamps.
The elite wave race, which is part of the VISMA Ski Classics series, will take 15 laps measuring around 50 kilometres, and will be flagged off on Sunday at 8.30 a.m. The entrants included in the 1st starting wave will start off at 11.30 a.m. as a group # 6.
This race will take place as planned on Saturday, and the participants are divided into starting waves with the first wave starting off at 8.00 a.m. (an hour earlier!) and the second one, at 9.30 a.m. The track is reserved for one and a half hours for the two waves. The racers will cover three laps.
This two-lap race will be started off on Saturday at 11 a.m. The course will be reserved for one and a half hours.
The race will follow the original schedule, which means the start on Friday at 1.00 p.m., but it will be run on three laps in classical style. The original division into the starting waves applies with the waves following in quick succession.

The layout of the track for this race will be specified later. Note: classic skiing technique is imposed for this race.

When and where can I collect my starting number?
You have received an e-mail containing complete information along with advice of allotting your starting number. Please print this piece of information and bring it with you to the point where the starting numbers are distributed. There are different points for the respective races:
· The Volkswagen Bedřichovská 30: in the Nisa shopping centre in Liberec on Thursday 7 January 2016 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and at the Ski Stadium at Bedřichov on Friday 8 January 2016 from 7.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.
· The Mini Jizerská Pojišťovny VZP: in the Nisa shopping centre in Liberec on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 January 2016 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
· The Nyč sport sprint: in the Nisa shopping centre in Liberec on Thursday 7 January 2016 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; at the Ski Stadium at Bedřichov on Friday 8 January 2016 from 11.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
· The Hervis Jizerská 25: in the Nisa shopping centre in Liberec on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 January 2016 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; it is not possible to check in on race day!
· The ČEZ Jizerská 50: in the Nisa shopping centre in Liberec on Thursday 7, Friday 8 and Saturday 9 January 2016 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; it is not possible to check in on race day!
How can I reach the Nisa shopping centre?
From the Liberec city centre: by bus № 500 from the Fügnerova terminal (free of charge); the bus goes there every half-hour.
From the railway/bus station: by tram № 2, 3, 5 and 11 in the direction of the city centre as far as the Fügnerova terminal, then by bus № 500.
By car: 50°44'29.306"N, 15°2'56.671"E, České Mládeže 456, Liberec.
Can I still enter for the race?
Yes, it is possible to enter for some the races. The terms vary from race to race:
· The Mini Jizerská Pojišťovný VZP: an entry fee amounting to CZK 250 to be paid at the Ski Stadium at Bedřichov on Friday 8 January 2016 from 8.30 a.m. to 9.30 p.m.
· The Nyč sport sprint: an entry fee amounting to CZK 450 to be paid at the Ski Stadium at Bedřichov on Friday 8 January 2016 from 11 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
I cannot participate. May I assign my starting number to another person?
Yes, it is possible. You may personally assign your starting number to another person at the distributing point in the Nisa shopping centre against payment of a fee of CZK 300. No changes are allowed on the date of the respective races!
How can I reach the starting point? Is traffic restricted at Bedřichov during the course of the Jizerská 50?
Traffic is not restricted at Bedřichov on Friday 8 January 2016 with the competitors being able to use available parking spaces up to the capacity. Traffic will be closed at Bedřichov on Saturday 9 January and Sunday 10 January. Only parking permit holders will be allowed to access. The contestants may use a free shuttle bus service from the cities of Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou during the two days. This shuttle bus service will also be in operation after the end of the races. For more information, please check out here.
Will waxing service be available?
Yes, the Swix waxing service will be available right in the Bedřichov stadium as in the previous years. The service crew shall be pleased to give you advice and prepare your skis for the race. We recommend you to reach the service early enough!
What kind of service will be available to the competitors?
A heated changing-room tent will be available right in the stadium at Bedřichov during all races. Warm refreshment will be provided inside the tent in the finish area on the occasion of the Volkswagen Bedřichovská 30, Hervis Jizerská 25 and the ČEZ Jizerská 50. An outdoor left-luggage facility will also be available during the above-mentioned races.
