Unique Crystal Medal for All Racers of ČEZ Jizerská 50

Whether you will go for the full 50 kilometres or whether you will embark on the new 10-kilometre race in the classical style during ČEZ Jizerská 50, you can look forward to receiving a crystal medal at the finishing line. We will hang it on the necks of all those who will complete any of the weekend races. The unique medal representing a symbol of a cross-country ski track has been designed and made by the glassmakers from Crystal Bohemia Poděbrady.

“The medal that the participants of Jizerská 50 will receive historically for the first time is an expression of our thanks to everyone for their loyalty to the race and for their commitment in the ski track. The unique medal made of crystal at a traditional Czech glassmaking company, which has a long tradition just like Jizerská 50, is a real gem,” says David Douša from the organisational committee of Jizerská 50.

The medal, which reflects the appearance of a cross-country ski track and weighs 240 grams, was designed by the glassmakers at Crystal Bohemia Poděbrady. The first proposed designs were created in spring this year; the appearance of the medal was finalised in early November. The medals for the different Jizerská 50 races are differentiated by the appearance of the ribbon.
