Jizerská 50: More than five thousands registered racers so far

Though the Czech Republic is enjoying Indian summer in all its glory, the organisers of the traditional ČEZ Jizerská 50 cross-country ski race have their hands full. Five thousand racers have already registered in the upcoming traditional event, which will take place from 9 to 11 January 2015. The capacity of all of the individual races is only slightly more than that – 6,600 starting numbers will be issued in total.

The programme of the ČEZ Jizerská 50 will retain its traditional format in 2015: the event will open on Friday with the Volkswagen Bedřichovská 30 freestyle, followed on Saturday by the Intersport Jizerská 25 and culminating on Sunday, 11 January 2015, with the main 50-kilometre classic race broadcast on Czech Television. The programme also includes a team relay race, races for children and an opening ceremony with a competition of historical skiers.
