12. 2. 2023
Would you like to experience the atmosphere of ČEZ Jizerská 50 live in the centre of the event? If you’re not on the trail racing, you can come and cheer your friends and family and see the stars of cross-country skiing. Spectators can also enjoy the race to the full, both at the stadium and on the course. Read the best tips how and where to support your favourite skiers.
How can you get to ČEZ Jizerská 50 as a spectator? Easily! Spectators can travel to the Bedřichov stadium on all the race days using bus service both from Liberec and Jablonec. Bedřichov will close for cars on Saturday 11 February and Sunday 12 February from 6 to 9 am. Only race participants with a pre-paid parking card and local residents with a permission issued by the Bedřichov municipality can enter the town.
Spectators can enjoy the best atmosphere in the centre of the race at the Bedřichov stadium. They can cheer on the skiers at the mass start and at the finish and during the awarding ceremony. There will be a colourful accompanying programme to entertain both adults and young fans during the day in the backstage for spectators and ski participants. On Friday, there will be the awarding ceremony with stalls from the partners of the race. If you want to get to Pokáč’s concert in time, which starts at 8 pm as part of the ČEZ Energy Fest in Jablonec, catch the direct bus from Bedřichov at Mírové náměstí at 19:15.
Nová Louka doesn’t need to be introduced. Do you know a better place to refresh yourself and enjoy the race than the iconic Šámalova cottage? You can watch any race apart from the Friday ones which take place around the stadium. If your favourite is ČSOB Jizerská 17, you can’t choose a better place. Skiers will pass the place twice! To get to Nová Louka walk from Bedřichov, it won’t be possible to park here during the race.
Do you want to support your friends or family during ČT Jizerská 10? Consider Královka. It has beautiful views, great refreshments plus you can go up the look-out tower!
Jizerka is a famous place on the trail located on the edge of the course of Jizerská 50, to be more precise at the 22nd kilometre. Spectators can cheer on the skiers in the main 50k race at a lovely downhill section, by the refreshment spot or at the ČEZ sprinting premium. There is a car park here.
Smědava is undoubtedly an attractive place to cheer skiers on. The longest uphill section on the Jizerská 50 course is there in the direction of Knajpa. Smědava is on the 29th kilometre of the race plus you can park here and walk to the nearby refreshments.
Music is the best evening entertainment and that’s the case this year again. Come and listen to Pokáč on Friday at 8 pm in concert at Mírové náměstí in Jablonec nad Nisou. And if that’s not enough, ČEZ Energy Fest continues on Saturday in Liberec at Náměstí Dr. E. Beneše, where popular band Mirai will play from 6 pm with Marcell as support an hour earlier. What else to enjoy in between ČEZ Jizerská 50 races than great music? Both concerts are free!
