T-Mobile Dry Bag: No More Waste

At Jizerská 50, we care not only about the racers’ experience on the course but also about the world around us. That’s why, together with our premium partner T-Mobile, we introduced the so-called Dry Bag at last year’s event – an iconic pink waterproof bag that replaced thousands of single-use plastic bags. If you want to use the storage service, this bag is a must!

What you need to know:

• If you didn’t race with us in 2025, you’ll receive your very first Dry Bag completely free of charge.
• You’ll use it in all future editions of ČEZ Jizerská 50.
• If you lose it or damage it, you can buy a replacement anytime via the SportID registration system – even after you’ve already registered.
• Without the official Dry Bag, you won’t be able to use the storage service at ČEZ Jizerská 50 races!

Since the 58th edition of ČEZ Jizerská 50, every racer has found this practical helper in their start pack – and it’s here to stay. By introducing it, we’ve managed to eliminate thousands of single-use plastic bags, saving several tons of plastic waste each year.

Every participant receives their first Dry Bag for free and can continue to use it safely for storing personal belongings in future years. Keep in mind: without this bag, you won’t be able to store your things before the race – so be sure to hold on to yours! It’s also more comfortable than the old plastic bags, thanks to an added strap that lets you easily carry it over your shoulder on the way to the start line.

But the Dry Bag isn’t just for Jizerská 50. It’s perfect for other sports and outdoor events too. Our long-term vision is to bring this shared bag system to partner races in Worldloppet or Ski Classics, making check-in easier at major cross-country skiing events worldwide. Imagine taking your Dry Bag to the Tartu Ski Marathon in Estonia – and feeling right at home. One bag, used again and again, without unnecessary waste. For now, it’s only at Jizerská 50… but in the future, who knows?

We also know that some of you may only use the bag for Jizerská 50, and during the long off-season, it might get misplaced. If you’ve lost your Dry Bag or don’t have it anymore for any reason, don’t worry. You can order a new one via SportID for just 200 CZK – either during registration or later. And remember: without a Dry Bag, the storage service at our races is no longer available. On top of that, together with T-Mobile, we’ll use the proceeds from newly sold Dry Bags to support a good cause.
